Nowadays, we all have a lot of files stored on our smartphones, in memory or via apps. It is quite common to lose these files, for example, by accidentally deleting them. Keeping this in mind, today we will show you how to recover deleted photos from iPhone using UltData. This method recovers any file that might have been deleted in any way.
Recovering deleted photos from iPhone
Go to the Tenorshare website and download Tenoshare UltData for free – free usage time has a limit but it’s enough for what we need – and install it. Open the program and, on the main page, select the “Recover Data from iOS Devices” option, the blue one on the left.
Connect your device to your computer via the charging cable. At this point, notice that a message will appear on the iPhone screen asking if your smartphone can trust this connection, then select “Trust” for full access. Once you’ve done this, Tenoshare UltData will automatically recognize your device, even displaying its name in the program.
If the connection does not connect in this way, there is the option to check what can be done, which in this case is to access recovery mode. The program itself teaches you how to do this, which consists of pressing, for a few seconds, the volume down button and the lock button at the same time.
If your smartphone locks up, select the “Exit Recovery Mode” button on your computer to break the lock. After a few seconds, your iPhone will restart and be recognized by the program.
And if your smartphone is left with a black or unresponsive screen, click “Fix iOS System”, also on your PC. This will start a repair process, after which you can proceed to data recovery.
Returning to our tutorial, you will now see a page containing the data you want to retrieve. If you are interested in recovering them all completely, simply select the first option on the left under “System Data” so that they are all selected automatically. Then click on “Scan”.
Once you have selected the applications whose data you want to recover, it’s time to choose which files you want to recover. If you chose the “Photos” app, you will now be able to choose which deleted photos from your iPhone you want to recover. To simplify the process, you can filter by “Show deleted only”. Now just select the files you want to recover and click “Recover to PC”.
Now you have access, on your computer, to the files that were deleted from your iPhone and recovered.
Recovering other files
Tenorshare UltData not only recovers deleted photos from your iPhone, but also serves to recover other types of files that may have been deleted from your devices. For example, you can recover notes made in the Notes app or even any messages (SMS) in the Messages app. Just follow the same tutorial shown, but when selecting which app you want to recover deleted data, choose that app and, within it, the file you want to recover.
When you go to the Tenorshare UltData main page, you can see that there are other tools available besides the one that recovers iPhone data on your PC. These include recovery of backups made via iTunes, recovery of data synced with iCloud, option to fix possible iOS bugs and errors, and also a specific backup for some social networks such as WhatsApp and others.
