TFI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared new details about Apple’s second-generation AirPods Pro. According to Kuo, who wrote his predictions in his most recent investor report, the wireless headphones will launch in the fourth quarter of 2022.
The experienced analyst says that Apple AirPods Pro 2 will have a completely new design and won’t look like previous models. There are claims that the wireless headset will offer a similar look to the Beats Fit Pro, which debuted last year.
Lossless audio support (ALAC).
In his report, Ming-Chi Kuo also states that the AirPods Pro 2 will come with Apple Lossless Audio Codec (ALAC) support, meaning it will offer lossless audio. Of course, for this, Bluetooth technology will overcome the limitations. That’s why none of Apple’s current wireless headphones can deliver a lossless audio experience.
The details about the AirPods Pro 2 don’t stop there. It can reportedly make a sound to indicate the position of the charging box. So it’ll be easier to find if it gets lost. Expectations also include that demand for the AirPods Pro 2 will be high.
