The Exploding Kittens card game, released in 2015 and still popular, is being made into a TV series by Netflix. In addition, a special mobile version of Exploding Kittens is also in the works.

The TV adaptation of Exploding Kittens will be in the format of an adult animated series. The series will be produced by the game’s creators Elan Lee and Matthew “The Oatmeal” Inman. The show will also feature the voices of well-known actors such as Mike Judge, Lucy Liu and Tom Ellis.

In the series, the war between God and Satan, who descended to earth as powerful house cats, will be the subject of the plot. The series will hit Netflix viewers next year. The mobile game special will launch next month with two new books.

Netflix points out that the Exploding Kittens project is the first to feature both mobile games and series. The company doesn’t appear to be considering mobile games for Stranger Things. While the game isn’t ready from scratch, it’s clearly signaling that the evolution of the game and the series will run parallel in the coming period.
