The first announcement for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 Pokemon Edition came last week. This specially themed foldable phone is available for sale in the company’s home country of South Korea. The phone sold out of stock within minutes of sales starting.

The Pokemon-themed Z Flip 3 is sold in South Korea for 1 million 284 thousand won. Sales of the phone were made through the company’s online store and Galaxy Campus store in the capital Seoul.

The phone’s special packaging includes a special Pokemon-themed box, a special Pokemon pouch, a transparent case with Pikachu stickers, additional stickers, a Pokeball-looking popsocket (phone holder) and a Pikachu tail-shaped keychain.

Samsung also offered a free one-year Samsung Care+ plan to those who bought the phone online.

The Galaxy Z Flip 3 Pokemon Edition was only sold in South Korea, as mentioned above. It remains unclear if Samsung will do additional production for this particular phone and if it will release the device in other countries. It wouldn’t be a surprise if the phone’s interest in South Korea encourages Samsung in this regard.
