Obi Wan Kenobi, the newest series in the Star Wars universe, unveils its first epic trailer. 1 minute 47 seconds of pure bliss for fans, allowing them to learn a little more about the various locations explored in the series and the mission entrusted to the Jedi Master.

The famous Jedi Master Obi Wan Kenobi, played as he should be by actor Ewan McGregor, gets his own TV series. Which is entitled to its first trailer today!

Following Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, Obi Wan Kenobi is the third live-action series from Disney+ Star Wars. This mission is to fill in the gaps in Jedi life between Episode 3 and 4.

Disney unveils the first trailer for Obi Wan Kenobi

As we learn from the “teaser trailer” (that’s what Disney+ calls the trailer), part of the series will take place on Tatooine. But that’s not all, as we can see other planets through some of the footage, including a city planet specifically created for the series.

From a plot standpoint, Obi Wan seems to want to protect young Luke Skywalker (who is only 10 years old) at all costs. The future Jedi grows up peacefully on Tatooine, away from the conflicts between the Empire and the Rebellion. The Sith will obviously be there and are just looking for the exiled Jedi Master.

Surely, fans will miss the absence of Anakin Skywalker in this trailer. But the famous villain will indeed return in the series, it’s official. We know he’ll be played by Hayden Christensen, who has already learned his character traits from Episodes 2 and 3. We can’t wait to see him back in action.

The Obi Wan Kenobi series will air from 25 May 2022 on Disney+ . If we stick to the streaming platform’s usual schedule, an episode will be available every Wednesday.

Disney+ will soon be coming to Romania as well, it’s planned for this summer, so we won’t have to wait long to see all these fascinating series.
