Sony is preparing to unveil its new generation of Xperia smartphones. The company has announced that it will hold an event on May 11 where it will showcase the new Xperia smartphones. The teaser video distributed suggests the new Xperia 5 and Xperia 10 phones, as well as the Xperia 1 IV.

Images of the Xperia 1 IV have already surfaced, showing a familiar design language with flatter edges than last year’s Xperia III. The phone is also expected to feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset alongside a 6.5-inch screen and quad cameras akin to a custom periscope module.

The Xperia 5 IV is also said to use TSMC’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Rumors also suggest a 6.1-inch OLED display and a triple camera setup on the back.

Recent leaks about the Xperia 10 IV have revealed that the phone will have a similar design to the Xperia 10 III, with a 6-inch OLED screen on the front and a triple-camera setup on the back.
