  8. In the settings window, you can additionally choose the type of data, either Site Preferences or Offline Website Data, that you want to clear automatically when Firefox closes.
  9. Click OK to run Fox in automatic mode.

It is important to note that Fox does not perform automatic removal by default in case the browser does not close normally. In such a case, be sure to relaunch the browser and close Firefox normally.

Install add-on here by clicking the Add to Firefox button.

Launch Firefox and click on History Cleaner.

Click Manage Extensions from the drop-down menu.

Go to Options on the left side of the page and set the timer to the number of days you want to keep browsing history.

Click Save to confirm the settings.

When finished, the history cleaner will automatically clear your web history once it is older than the set period.

History AutoDelete is a useful add-on to control your history. It will let you choose a domain to automatically remove from history. Moreover, it allows you to automatically clear older history if the history is older than a specified number of days.

Install the add-on here by clicking Add to Firefox.

Launch Firefox and click on History Cleaner.

Click the History Settings tab on the left side of the page and set the timer by entering the number of days you want to keep your browsing history.

Click Save to confirm the settings.

To choose a domain to automatically remove, navigate to a URL List option on the left side of the page. Here you can add URLs, export URLs or import URLs.

Click Save to confirm the settings.

Once completed, the addon will automatically clear your web history once it is older than the set period.
