How to Transfer Google Photos to Another Account

To transfer photos from Google Photos to another account, you can use one of the following methods:

  1. Use the Google Takeout program.
  2. Add a partner to create a shared library.

1]Use the Google Takeout program

Google Takeout is a free and simple program that helps users download data that you have shared with Google. Whether you want to backup Gmail or Google Photos, you can download both using Google Takeout.

To get started, you need to visit the official website and login to your account. This account should be the same one you used to access Google Photos.

Now click on the Unselect all button find Google Photosand check the corresponding box.

Also click on All photo albums included button.

Now scroll down and click on the The next step button. It will ask you to select a delivery method. You can select Email Download Link option from the drop-down list.

Then choose Export once from Frequency and select .Zip *: French from File type and size.

Finally, click on the Create an export button.

It may take a few moments. However, you will receive an email notification. If so, click the link and download the .zip file.

After downloading the file, unzip it and keep all the images in one place.

Now open the official website and log in to the new account.

Here you can find a download icon which you need to click and select Computer.

Then select the images you want to upload. This may take a few minutes as it depends on the number of photos and the speed of your internet connection.

2]Add a partner to create a shared library

Google Photos allows users to add a partner so you can share images and videos with someone. In this case, you can send an invitation to your new account so that you can access all existing images using the new one.

To get started, open the official Google Photos website and sign in to your old account. After that, click on the hamburger icon (three horizontal lines) and select Settings.

Now click on the Shared libraries option, click To start button, enter the new email address, then click the button Following button.

How to Transfer Photos from Google Photos to Another Account

You should receive an invitation to your new email address. Open the email and click on the Open Google Photos button.

Then it should ask you to access the invite. You must click on the Accept to accept it so that you can find all the photos in your new account.

Once you’ve done that, you can see all the photos and videos from your old account. You can open anything and click on the Save button to the file on your new account.
